We’ve come out top amongst a colossal amount of entries from all over South Africa, and we are feeling SO PROUD. …I spent months developing and perfecting this recipe. Testing and tweaking again and again, and I knew it was a winner from the moment I went “this is it!!!”The best thing of all - our curd is actually VEGAN! What makes this win extra sweet is that we entered into the vegan category, but won in the baking category, and I believe it is because it is just that damn good!!My aim with this curd was to perfect a recipe just as good, or even better than a real lemon curd, but without dairy, eggs or butter, and boy did we knock it out of the park! So proud! …Thank you @foodandhomesa for creating this platform and for all the judges who selected us as one of the best!

MARINA & DIEGO…A moment for yet another showstopper … and boy oh boy does this one steal the show! Marina & Diego’s chose our “Wendy.O” cake size (a personal favourite), with fondant sheets draped across the front of the cake, and beautiful fresh flowers. This look is absolutely perfect on the Wendy.O as it has a double height middle tier that creates lots of space for decoration.
