Thank you Roselyn & Richard!!! 🫶…This client came with a very detailed and specific brief for their wedding cake, due to one of them dealing with a really akward allergy to gaur-gum, which if you know, is an ingredient hiding in MANY every day ingredients. We had to dissect our vegan recipes, and configured a bespoke recipe to suit the couple’s needs.Here is what they had to say:…“We had such a wonderful experience with Crumb Cakes! We were planning our wedding from overseas, so already a challenge! With Crumb Cakes it was seamless. We ordered a vegan cake, and to add additional complexity we had to ensure no gum additives were in any of the ingredients due to an allergy. Crumb Cakes went above and beyond to test different plant milks without those additives to ensure we had a cake that did not compromise on taste and texture. The flavour was amazing, presentation was fantastic, service and communication were excellent. A Mosbol Cake & Treats For @studio_h_...Last week I had the absolute pleasure making some delicious sweet treats, as well as lending my piping skills to Studio H X @juwan.beyers.food.design for their incredible edible installation inspired by natural fibres and the Lamb Of Hope exhibition, that formed the backdrop of the Art Party, hosted by @houseandleisure, @viviers.studio and @sohohouse...Guys - I made 12kg of turkish delight. By hand. 😵‍💫 That was nearly 600 pieces. I also made the most divine sheets of fruit leather, that Juwan hand stitched together, then guests used big scissors to cut strips off. The "piece de resistance" though was a massive mosbol cake layered with lamb jam, cream cheese butter and quail eggs. I constructed and piped the cake on site - in nearly 40 degrees heat! 🥵...Loved being part of this!
